All President Mahama's foreign policies are a security threat to Ghana
By Tawiah Evans
A child who do not
achieve more than his or her father is a failed child, and the child who
inherit a hard working father have no room for rest.
As a nation, our
leader Dr. Kwame Nkrumah set a bench mark which was the blue print for our
nation, a mark, any leader after Osagyefo is yet to beat.
Among the bench
marks were self determination, self reliance, economic independence and
prevention of the return of the colonial rule, our leaders fought against
(Neo-colonialism).
All the above can
only be achieved the day our leaders realized that the mentality of the
colonial masters then have not changed and that, they have in-fact increased
the means of ruling us today than ever before.
In-fact, the
situation now have move from bad to worse in terms of colonialism, because,
Ghana and most parts of Africa is not only ruled by their formal masters but countless
foreign countries but Ghana under president Mahama now poses a serious security
threat to the Ghana.
It so painful to
refer to my own country’s president as a security threat but that is the reality
unless you don’t understand security. And think of a security threat only when
a foreign military is invading your nation.
Why is our
president a security threat to the same people who voted him in to power? The
secret is: majority of governments or leaders during their time as presidents
did work against the interest of Ghana, thus pushing the interest of foreign
countries than their own countries but, president mahama’s record can never be
beaten by any government to come.
For a better
statement, it should be known to all Ghanaians that our president have declared
Ghana a non-independent country and a non-sovereign nation as he moves to the
USA to finalize the neo-colonial deals.
Our schooling
system, which I find difficult to call an educational system, teaches us
nothing apart from globalization, so majority of Ghanaians and Africans mostly
seems to buy into anything global and international.
President Mahama taking advantage of this
naivety of Ghanaians is bringing four main globalist agendum to Ghana which will
translate into a security threat that is invisible to the Ghanaian army.
For the sake of
deep edification, I will treat each of the four globalist security threat
agenda one by one in series. But before then lets look at the four means by
which the president of Ghana is threatening the security of the nation, first
is the introduction of GMOs through the plant breeders bill (PBB).
Second security
threat is the signing of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), the third
and fourth security threat comes from the conditionalities attached to the IMF
and the Millennium Challenge Account or Compact. All the four security threats,
the commander in Chief of the Ghana armed forces is bringing on to the nation
are related in nature.
Among the
president’s favorite vocabularies are potentials and prospects, for example,
“the country’s shot and long term potentials are good”. But the president has
never mention of the security potentials his Neo-colonialist corporatocracy
system of government is bringing onto Ghana.
GENETICALLY
MODIFIED ORGANISM (GMO) AND IT SECURITY POTENTIALS
According Jeffery
Smith, in his book Seed of Deception, “A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a
laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and
artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal.
The foreign genes may come from
bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans. Because this involves the
transfer of genes, GMOs are also known as “transgenic” organisms.
This process may be called either
Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM); they are one and the
same”
The above definition of GMO basically
deals with biology which in-turn deals with health. The American Academy of Environmental
Medicine (AAEM) issued a statement on Genetically Modified Foods.
"GM foods pose a serious health risk in
the areas of toxicology, allergy and immune function, reproductive health, and
metabolic, physiologic and genetic health." Because GM foods pose a
serious health risk the AAEM calls for a moratorium on all genetically modified
foods.
President John Dramani Mahama as a globalist as he is,
wants to tell Ghanaians that his Ministers of health have not come across the
harmful effect of GMO foods. But let see where national security comes in.
Parliament under the supervision of president Mahama
is working out to hand over Ghana’s agricultural industry to MONSANTO and it
allies to become the soul farmers in Ghana.
Internationally one of the countries who have had and
still having security problems as a result of the introduction of GMO is
Indian.
According to Indian Agronomists, Kiran Sakhari and
Abdul Gayum, “since BT cotton was introduced in 2005 by MONSANTO, the number of
suicides in the cotton farming communities in 2006 alone was 600 suicides, thus
from June 2005 to June 2006 600 suicides.
Every thirty minutes a farmer commit suicide due to
un-manageable dept to MONSANTO through a by force seed and chemical purchase from
the same GMO companies.
In Ghana today, Tomato farmers are seen committing
suicide due to non-availability of market for their produce yet, the president
and is government with support from the opposition insist GMO is the way.
The president have decided to make this country
in-secured for we the citizens because he cannot tell Ghanaians that he is not
privy to the United Nation’s report on Food and Agriculture which calls on all
governments in the world to make industrial agriculture unattractive and
in-turn, support local and small holding farmers. http://usc-canada.org/2013/09/27/wake-up-before-its-too-late/
Below
is a summary of the UN’s latest report on how this world can be saved from
hunger and food in-security.
“Governments in rich
and poor countries alike should renounce their focus on agribusiness and give
more support to small-scale, local food production to achieve global food
security and tackle climate
change, according to a
report fromUN trade and development body.”
“The
2013 Trade and Environment Review, calls on governments
to "wake up before it is too late" and shift rapidly towards farming models that
promote a greater variety of crops, reduced fertilizer use and stronger links
between small farms andhttp://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2013/sep/18/food-crisis-un-governments
local consumers”
In
view of all the above, president Mahama want to go ahead to give out the only
job left in Ghana for both un-employed graduates and the local poor farmers in
the name of industrial agriculture as against the directives of the United
Nation.
President
Mahama’s aggressive move to have the plant breeders bill passed into law will
bring Hennery Kiesinger’s prophetic word to pass “control Petrol and you
control the nations control food and you control the people.
In
conclusion, if farmers’ daily bread is going to be taken by foreigners and they
will have to buy seeds every year before they can start their farms a situation
which will cause them to commit suicide, and die, what else constitute a
national security threat than the introduction of GMO?.
Finally, the unbearable living conditions President
Mahama is bringing on to the people of Ghana for trying to be the best
Neo-colonialist president ever to come after those who overthrew Dr. Kwame
Nkrumah, will result in a state of insecurity that can increase the number of
people who will kill themselves and those to be killed by armed robbers.
Ladies and gentle men, Ghana our beloved country is
hijacked by economic hit men and president Mahama is going down as the best
puppet in the 21st Century, in Africa.
